There are several ways you can take screenshots on Windows 11. You can use the built-in snipping tool, the traditional Print Screen method, the Web Capture feature in Microsoft Edge, and more. All methods are detailed below.

Method 1: Take screenshots with the Snipping Tool

Windows 10 has two different tools for taking screenshots: clipping tool And clip and draw. In Windows 11, these two classic apps have been replaced by the new Snipping Tool that brings the best of both apps.

Here’s how to use the new snipping tool to take a screenshot on Windows 11:
